A FOUNDER’S PERSPECTIVE
Preparation matters when decisions carry risk.
Evans’s professional journey began with ten years in the Kenya Defence Forces, including Paratrooper and Ranger training and United Nations peacekeeping operations in Sierra Leone. He later moved into corporate security leadership, including serving as Country Security Manager at Saab Kenya.
During the Somali piracy crisis, his work included maritime security team leadership and numerous vessel escorts through the Gulf of Aden and Indian Ocean High Risk Area.
That experience shaped an emphasis on discipline, situational awareness and operational risk management. Today, Evans brings those principles to his work as a trading technology entrepreneur and Deriv Master Partner.
